Senior Construction Project Manager

Description:

Seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to take full ownership of project outcomes. In this hands-on role, you'll act as scheduler, estimator, coordinator, and project CFO - managing everything from initial estimates to final closeout. For the right candidate, there's ample opportunity to grow into a senior leadership role as our team expands.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead entire project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout with accountability for profitability
  • Perform in-house digital takeoffs using Bluebeam and prepare bid proposals
  • Navigate public bidding processes and manage project scheduling using Microsoft Project (Primavera experience a plus)
  • Coordinate daily with superintendents, architects, subcontractors, and clients using professional, timely communication
  • Host weekly jobsite and vendor meetings, handle RFI management, change order processing, and submittal reviews
  • Build and distribute all administrative project documents including subcontracts, purchase orders and change orders
  • Ensure meticulous precision in all deliverables - clean spreadsheets, clear emails, timely follow-up, and accurate monthly pay applications
  • Manage procurement, quality control, punch lists, and closeout activities
  • Maintain organized project files and task management using Procore, Google Drive, and Trello
  • Forecast costs and manage budgets for $10M+ individual annual construction revenue
  • Handle billing documentation, cost analysis, and track project performance against estimates to maintain profitability focus


Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience as a commercial construction Project Manager
  • Experience managing commercial construction projects totaling $10M+ annually
  • Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, Google Drive, Word, Excel and Microsoft Project
  • Strong technical proficiency and exceptional communication with proven follow-through
  • Solid understanding of public bidding, subcontractor management, cost forecasting
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
  • Experience with Primavera and/or Trello
  • Previous small- to mid-size GC experience with full project responsibility
