The Opportunity:

Step into a world where health meets care as a Pharmacy Intern at Rosauers Supermarkets. Under the guidance of our seasoned pharmacists, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operations of our pharmacy, all while delivering unmatched service to our customers.

What You'll Do:

• Answer phones, address inquiries, and provide information to customers
• Assist pharmacists in verifying the accuracy and completeness of medication orders
• Process prescriptions electronically and ensure all information is complete and accurate
• Resolve issues when they arise (e.g. rejected insurance claims)
• Select the appropriate medicine and measure dosages to fill prescriptions
• Sort, stock, label medication and monitor inventory
• Assist with inventory management and stocking of supplies
• Undertake administrative tasks (e.g. record-keeping) as assigned
• Sterilize surfaces and equipment and prepare the pharmacy for opening
• Comply with all security measures and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Adhere to all laws and regulations pertaining to the sale and distribution of medications
• Perform additional tasks as needed

Requirements

• Candidates must be 18+ years or older
• Complete a pre-employment background check
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program
• Ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail
