Spokane Children's Theatre is dedicated to inspiring, educating, and empowering people

through the performing arts. We offer high-quality theatrical productions, camps, and

classes that encourage creativity, teamwork, and self-confidence. We are seeking a

passionate Educational Director to lead and grow our educational programming.

Position Overview

The part-time Educational Director will oversee the planning, development, and execution

of our educational programs, including theatre classes, workshops, school outreach, and

summer camps. This individual will work closely with the Executive Artistic Director and

Managing Director to ensure our educational offerings align with our mission and engage

individuals of all ages and abilities. This part-time position has the potential for increased

hours as the educational arm of the theatre grows.

Duties

Duties include but are not limited to: Everything requisite with the creation of camps and

classes including finding scripts, hiring, supervising, and training instructors, etc. This

director will be involved in growing our Traveling Theatre and locating additional class

space so we can expand our classes.
