  • Partner with clinical and operational leaders to align financial strategies with patient care objectives and organizational growth.
  • Oversee month-end close, financial consolidations, and internal/external reporting for multiple entities and service lines.
  • Manage the annual audit process and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and implement internal controls, financial policies, and procedures tailored to the healthcare environment.
  • Support strategic initiatives including payer contract analysis, service line profitability, and capital investment planning.
  • Prepare board presentations, lender reports, and executive dashboards that clearly communicate financial performance and key trends.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CFO, contributing to long-term planning, risk management, and organizational transformation.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 7–10 years of progressive finance and/or accounting experience, with a strong track record in healthcare services, hospital systems, or multi-site provider organizations.
  • Must have experience overseeing entire accounting or finance functions and team.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare reimbursement models, revenue cycle operations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with financial systems, multi-entity consolidations, and scaling finance operations in a growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with a hands-on, collaborative approach.
  • Experience working with private equity or in a high-growth, investor-backed healthcare company is highly desirable.

Education & Credentials:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA, MBA or MHA preferred.
