Role: Software Engineer - Genrative AI

Location: Onsite - D.C Area

Clearance Required: Active DoD Secret or Top Secret

Overview:

A rapidly growing Generative AI platform supporting government and commercial teams is seeking a Generative AI Software Engineer to work closely with clients on-site. This role involves building AI agents and plugins, guiding full-scale deployments, and delivering mission-critical automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner directly with clients to design, prototype, and deploy Generative AI solutions
• Build and maintain AI agents and plugins using Python
• Deliver hands-on support across full project lifecycle
• Train end users and identify opportunities for automation
• Collaborate across technical teams to integrate AI tools
• Ensure secure, efficient, and maintainable code practices
• Stay current on GenAI frameworks and secure cloud development

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience (Python preferred)
• 1+ year building automation tools with Generative AI
• Strong skills in prompt engineering and secure coding
• Proven success in customer-facing technical roles
• Ability to manage projects independently and communicate effectively
• Must be based on-site in the DC area (50% travel as needed)
• Active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance required
