The position allocated to this class performs non-oath support functions associated with facilitation of probation casework: performs intake procedures, assists in a limited capacity with probationer monitoring, closes cases and assists in other areas as assigned. Work is performed under the guidance and supervision of the District Court Manager and/or Probation Officers. This class is distinguished from the Probation Officer class by the narrow scope of work and a lesser degree of independent decision making. Incumbents will not routinely appear and/or present in court, except as requested for training purposes. TOTAL COMPENSATION: $51,030 - $71,431 annually.
