**About the Role:**

Monitor and manage an assigned portfolio of Commercial Real Estate loans and relationships. Collaborates and teams with Commercial Banking frontline to manage customer and portfolio, as well as has direct interaction with customers on a regular basis. In addition to individual production, manages a commercial banking team to meet strategic objectives, production and profitability goals, and client needs.

+ Responsible for the management of assigned commercial real estate loans which includes collaboration with frontline as well as direct interface with customers to resolve any of the following: past due payments, maturities, property taxes and insurance; collects annual financial statements and resolves past due financial reporting; manages insured commercial real estate losses, assisting customers by facilitating the disbursements for repair.

+ Responsible for effective analysis, assessment, and assignment of risk ratings through performance-based monitoring, including preparation of related documentation.

+ Responsible for the collection of financial documentation, which collection directly impacts multifamily favorable risk-based capital accounting treatment potential.

+ Responsible to navigate customers through various types of servicing issues related to their monthly loan payments including problems with autopay, overdrafts, interest rates and escrow.

+ Works with the customer to develop an action plan to get the loan back to a pass credit status on adversely risk rated loans.

+ Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.

+ Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.

+ Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.

+ May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.

+ Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Umpqua corporate culture in all actions and words.

**About** **You:**

+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other related field, or equivalent experience(Required)

+ 4-7of relevant commercial real estate portfolio management experience.(Required)

+ Strong portfolio management abilities, analytical and problem solving skills, and credit and credit quality skills, including commercial collection experience.

+ Strong knowledge of commercial lending products and services.

+ Strong knowledge of commercial lending policies, procedures, practices and documentation.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

+ Strong attention to detail.

+ Strong ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships.

+ Proficiency with personal computers and related software packages such as Word and Excel, and other business machines.

The pay range for this role is $24.38 - $39.00 and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
