About the role

The Project Management services team has an immediate need for a full-time, dedicated Project Manager to work at DC Water Blue Plains AWTP.

Ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in project management and wastewater projects, with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related subject.

Primary duties include:

• Managing a team of internal and third-party designers and contractors
• Responsible for managing projects to achieve budget, schedule, and contractual obligations (KPIs, etc.)
• Lead, assist or perform complex engineering design tasks on assigned wastewater-related projects through collaboration with a wide range of technical disciplines including calculations, equipment sizing and selection, drawings, reports, feasibility studies, quality reviews, etc.
• Presentations to clients, regulatory agencies, and/or project stakeholders
• Assist with the goals, objectives and management of the design and construction of projects of varying complexities including CMAR and PDB
• Conduct and/or coordinate quality assurance and quality control on assigned projects and facilitate independent technical review projects by others
• Involved in the permitting process of projects
• Research and understand issues related to regulatory and other drivers that impact individual projects
• Client-facing experience is required to lead and facilitate discussions
• Base salary between $130k - $160k
• Annual bonus.
