About The Position
Job Title: Clienttion Therapist Profession: Clienttion Oncology Specialty: Clienttion Therapist Duration: 18 weeks Shift: M-F Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: State Radiologic Technologist Certifications: American Heart Association BLS Card, ARRT Clienttion Therapy Must-Have: Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Description: Mission: To improve the health of the community, serving with compassion and respect, one person at a time. Administers therapeutic radiation treatments as part of the oncology patient care team. Works effectively and cooperatively within the workplace. Delivers radiation treatment through operation of the linear accelerator and associated imaging systems. Performs daily patient and room set up in accordance with each treatment plan. Performs accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Ensures appropriate charge entry for provided services. Performs EPID review. Maintains ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office (Outlook) and department specific software applications to perform work. Communicates effectively and cooperatively in the workplace. Actively contributes to the achievement of Quality Improvement and Lean Process Improvement activities. Completes all mandatory learning requirements in a timely manner. Maintains current licensure and/or certification as required. Attends and actively participates in all department, team and/or committee meetings. Complies with all relevant policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee. Graduate of a Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation accredited Clienttion Therapist program required. Previous experience as a Clienttion Therapist preferred. Must be able to effectively prioritize workload amongst frequent interruptions with competing priorities. Knowledge of the healthcare environment is required. Physical demands of the job include regular talking and hearing. The position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day. Must be able to frequently lift or move objects and patients weighing over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. Potential to float between locations and ability to call off shifts if needed. Holiday coverage may be required.
