Job Summary: Sanitation & Facilities Technician (Cannabis Facility)This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and basic facility maintenance throughout a cannabis production facility, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and state regulations. The role supports daily operations across departments and adheres to company conduct standards.Key Responsibilities:Perform daily sweeping, mopping, and waste disposalSanitize and sterilize facility areas, packaging materials, and grow roomsConduct monthly grow room filter changes and green waste destruction using BioTrackClean equipment, jars, bathrooms, kitchens, and break roomsPerform minor repairs and general maintenance (e.g., plumbing, HVAC)Support Research & Development and assist other departments as neededMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentQualifications:Must have a high school diploma or GED (experience preferred)Able to stand, walk, crouch, and perform repetitive tasks for long hoursLift and carry up to 50 lbsGood vision and color differentiation requiredSkills & Abilities:Dependable and adaptable to changing tasks and prioritiesBasic technical and mechanical knowledge (e.g., A/C, HVAC, plumbing)Strong attention to detail, safety, and cleanlinessEffective communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work with minimal supervision and meet quality standardsWork Environment:Exposure to loud noise, dust, fumes, and occasional toxic chemicalsMust be comfortable working in physically demanding conditions and around sensitive materialsThis is a hands-on role in a fast-paced cannabis facility, ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to cleanliness and safety.
