Hogan Lovells is a leading global law firm providing business-oriented legal advice and high-quality service across its breadth of practices to clients around the world. Our people are the key to our success, which is why we seek to recruit and retain the most talented individuals in all regions of our global practice.

We have a well-established global Marketing & Business Development (M&BD) team, which supports the firm on a wide range of business development, marketing, and client relationship management activities. The team is divided into a number of key areas including practice M&BD, clients and markets covering industry M&BD, pitches and pursuits, which manage strategic global and regional pitches; corporate communications, which comprises public relations, brand, design, events, and digital; and campaigns and projects. There are also regional M&BD teams with whom this role will interact.

We seek a capable and enthusiastic M&BD Manager to advance the business development and marketing activities of our Antitrust and Competition, and Government Relations and Public Affairs practices. The role will encompass a range of initiatives, including working with practice specialty areas as assigned, drafting pitches and credentials, leading profile raising and marketing campaigns, including client programs and events, and coordinating communications such as client alerts, award and directory submissions, and digital content. This is a global role that will work closely with practice teams primarily in the U.S., as well as lawyers and M&BD colleagues in the UK and Continental Europe.

Our Antitrust and Competition practice consists of approximately 140 lawyer's residents in 18 countries. The team advises on competition investigations, litigation, merger control, risk management, public procurement, state aid and public policy. The practice is hailed as a “top 10 global elite” by Global Competition Review. Practice leadership sits in London and Washington, D.C., with an advisory board in the U.S. and Continental Europe.

Our Government Relations and Public Affairs practice takes a strategic approach to complex, often highly technical matters. We have earned a top tier ranking by Chambers USA, where sources say, we are “considered to be at the forefront of government relations issues.” We are regularly included in rankings compiled by industry surveys, including Legal Times' Influence 50, Washingtonian's Top Lobbyists, and The National Law Journal's Leaders of the Pack.
