The Opportunity:
You will report to the Senior Director of Finance and Operations for the College of Medicine. As the Contract Analyst Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of contracts within the College of Medicine, ensuring that a wide range of agreements are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with University policies, legal requirements, and state regulations. Your position plays a key role in the negotiation, drafting, review, approval, and administration of contracts involving College of Medicine resources.
Serving as the primary liaison for all contract-related matters, you will work closely with internal departments and central University offices, including PACS and REBO. The role requires strong collaboration and communication skills, independent decision making, as well as a commitment to delivering high-level customer service. In addition, as the Contract Analyst Coordinator, you will support procurement and financial operations, generate analytical reports, and drive process improvements to promote operational effectiveness and accountability.
As the incumbent, you will be responsible for finalizing all contracts within the College of Medicine, ensuring they are routed for signature based on the type of contract-either by the Dean or the Senior Director of Finance and Operations (for contracts up to $10,000), or by the appropriate centralized WSU office for review and authorization.

This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary: $4,508.70 - $6,763.06 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Public Administration, or other related field and three (3) years of experience in contract administration, procurement, financial operations or related experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Additional Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, manage workflows, and interpret policies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience using enterprise systems.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:- Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience in higher education or public-sector administration.
- Familiarity with WSU systems and processes, including PACS, REBO, Workday, and delegated authority guidelines.
