Position Overview

We are seeking a commercially minded and operationally capable Resilience Delivery & Solutions Director to lead business development efforts, oversee service delivery, and provide subject matter expertise in training and resilience/security advisory engagements. This hybrid role is ideal for a self-starter who can generate new business, coordinate complex client engagements, and step into high profile delivery roles when needed. The role must also be able to lead or contribute to the delivery of any won work.

The ideal candidate will bring experience delivering resilience, security, crisis management, and training and exercising solutions to organizations across high-value sectors—ensuring flexibility and scalability in addressing evolving operational risks through security risk management and Business Continuity Planning (BCP), advisory support, and capacity building.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development (60%)

  • Drive revenue growth across multiple sectors and industries.
  • Own the full sales lifecycle — from lead generation and relationship-building to proposal development and contract closure.
  • Respond to RFPs and RFIs, craft tailored solutions and collaborate with internal proposal teams.
  • Leverage Salesforce CRM to track opportunities, manage pipeline, and report progress.
  • Represent RSM and S7U at industry events, client briefings, and conferences to position our brand and capabilities.
  • Xsell other practice services – especially the Intelligence Fusion service line.

Operations & Service Delivery (25%)

Coordinate the delivery of client-facing services including:

  • Embedded/deployed risk and resilience advisory support.
  • eLearning and videogame-based training solutions.
  • Develop BCPs and associated BC documentation.
  • Develop SRM document systems.
  • Ensure delivery excellence by aligning internal teams, resources, and timelines to client expectations.
  • Ensure projects are complete to scope, to time, and meet profitability targets.
  • Oversee performance, manage scope and deliverables, and drive continuous improvement.

Training Facilitation & Capacity Building (15%)

  • Deliver instructor-led training as needed (e.g., Hostile Environment Awareness Training, crisis and incident management exercises, personal travel and security awareness training).
  • Engage diverse audiences ranging from corporate executives to field-based personnel.
  • Coordinate with instructional design teams to adapt pre-developed training materials.
  • Facilitate tabletop exercises and scenario-based simulations.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial advisory roles related to resilience, security, or crisis management.
  • Proven ability to close business and manage multi-sector client relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering or coordinating technical services and training programs.
  • Strong proposal development and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or equivalent CRM tools.
  • Operational fitness to support instructor-led training when needed.
  • Willingness and ability to travel moderately (30–50%), including internationally where required.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Industry certifications such as ASIS CPP/PSP, ISO 31000/22301 credentials, or equivalent.
  • BC knowledge or hands-on experience, particularly in aligning plans with client-specific operational risk environments.
  • Multilingual capability (Spanish, French, Arabic) is a plus.
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial instincts.
  • Strong writer – for both technical content and proposals.
  • Ability to generate complex pricing models and strategies.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Calm and effective under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Broad understanding of resilience disciplines including security risk management, BC, crisis management, and training delivery.
  • Client-first mindset with operational agility.
