TurnAround, a private nonprofit agency, is the designated rape crisis center for Baltimore City and County. The organization is dedicated to serving those affected by human trafficking, sexual violence, and intimate partner violence. TurnAround is committed to providing support, advocacy, and intervention services to help individuals and communities heal and rebuild.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Financial Controller based in the Washington DC-Baltimore Area. The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing the organization's financial activities, including preparing financial statements, conducting financial reporting, and ensuring accurate accounting records. The role also involves analyzing financial data, developing budgets, and implementing financial policies and procedures to maintain fiscal integrity and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
• Proficiency in Accounting and Finance
• Excellent Analytical Skills
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA certification is a plus
• Previous experience in nonprofit finance or a related sector is beneficial
