Under the direction of the Director of Surgical Services, is able to independently apply surgical asepsis principles through surgical techniques via sterilization in the process and preparation of surgical instrumentation. Is also independently responsible for decontaminating, cleaning, and processing surgical instruments, equipment, and reusable supplies.
