This position works 37.5 hours per week. The position allocated to this class performs a variety of complex, administrative and regulatory tasks involved in processing vehicle and vessel titles and registrations in the Auto License Department of the County Auditors Office. Under the general direction of the Records & Vehicle Licensing Manager (or designee), work is performed with independence following established rules, regulations and guidelines and requires extensive public contact often under stressful situations. Promotion from a License Specialist 1 to License Specialist 2 is contingent upon receipt of WA DOL Vehicle Licensing Representative certification and with the affirmative recommendation of the department.
