NATURE OF WORK:The Park Grounds & Facility Worker is responsible for watering, cleanliness, vegetation management., sports field maintenance and general upkeep of greenspaces and hardscapes in the Right of Way and all park areas outside of Riverfront Park, Manito Park, Finch Arboretum and Golf Courses. Work is conducted in teams or individually and assignments may be routine in nature or vary depending on your team and tier assignment. Responsibilities and pay vary as shown below. The Park and Grounds Caretaker has the option of working at various City parks with the Park Operations Department.
