Job Details

Under the general direction of the Laboratory Director, the Phlebotomist collects and processes laboratory specimens from all areas of the hospital including, but not limited to the Emergency Department, Main Tower, West Tower, East Tower and Outpatient areas, including blood samples, skin scrapings, and POCT testing and non-blood specimens. Maintains laboratory supplies by ordering, receiving and stocking them. Answers the telephone and relays messages. Performs general laboratory duties including general cleaning, instrument maintenance, copying, faxing and other related duties. Providence caregivers are not simply valued theyre invaluable.
