Pizza Cook

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a love for creating delicious pizzas. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality pizzas that meet our standards for taste and presentation, while ensuring food safety and hygiene practices are followed.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare pizza dough and sauces according to established recipes and standards.
• Assemble pizzas with various toppings, ensuring even distribution for optimal flavor.
• Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor cooking times to ensure pizzas are baked to perfection.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including regular cleaning of workstations and equipment.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages.

Skills:

• Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
• Experience in meal preparation, particularly in pizza making, is preferred.
• Familiarity with catering services is a plus, as well as experience working within a dietary department or as a dietary aide.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
• A passion for food service and creating memorable dining experiences for customers.
