Job Type Full-timeDescriptionYOUR PURPOSEThe Facilities Coordinator II coordinates maintenance, repairs, and infrastructure projects. Responsible for maintaining buildings and grounds, including overall appearance, while ensuring each facility meets all safety and building standards. Coordinates with established vendors and seeks out new vendors to ensure timely maintenance, repairs, and completion of projects. Manages work orders to completion by executing required work or coordinating with a vendor. This position also assists in coaching and mentoring other team members in areas of expertise. Assumes additional responsibilities as a senior team member. This position is expected to stay current on appropriate regulation and compliance updates as they impact Horizon facilities. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FORFacilities Maintenance, Repairs and Infrastructure Projects Inspects facilities and equipment to determine the need and extent of service to maintain the safety and appearance of Horizon's buildings.Performs prescribed preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment, buildings, and grounds as required.Detects and reports faulty building or equipment issues with any of our facilities and provides solutions to keep them properly maintained and safe.Receives service requests for buildings and equipment and determines actions needed to be taken including authorizing the dispatch of service vendors.Installs, assembles, moves, repairs, and removes equipment and furniture.Prioritizes and manages work orders to provide a timely resolution to work order requests.Delivers supplies to branches as needed.Keeps in compliance with all current OSHA and WISHA Health and Safety regulations.Strategizes for the future by considering needed capacity, needed capability and obsolescence. Contributes to capital planning. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as business demands/priorities change. Vendor Management Maintains current service vendor list which includes periodically verifying vendor's licensing and insurances are current.May independently oversee or direct contractors and other vendors and make commitments on behalf of the credit union (depending on location). Obtains cost estimates for repairs or maintenance and depending on location, may have independent approval authority.Obtains proposals for new infrastructure capital projects.Evaluate quotes and proposals and make recommendations to management. Advanced Responsibilities Partners in responsibility for enterprise vehicle fleet management.May be responsible for enterprise annual regulatory compliance testing coordination.Coordinate and delegate work projects and tasks given from the Facilities Director. The figures shown represent the minimum and maximum of the range for this role. RequirementsEXPERTISE YOU NEED High School Diploma or equivalent. Some formal technical trade experience and/or education. Minimum of five years in a facilities position with progressive responsibilities or we will consider a combination of education and experience. Some vendor management experience is required. Some project management experience is a plus. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license. Knowledge of SharePoint and other vendor management software is preferred. Is a self-starter, proactive, and results-driven using organizational and departmental data and KPIs. Ability to work independently, be collaborative, and work within a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Possesses leadership skills that lift and enhance the facilities team while completing tasks and projects. Ability to read and comprehend work instructions.General repair knowledge is needed in the areas of drywall, painting, door adjustments, flooring, plumbing, carpentry, landscape irrigation systems, and equipment repair.Knowledge of building systems and construction and ability to read blueprints.Needs to have electrical knowledge and be able to make minor repairs such as replacing ballasts for lighting, and replacing light fixtures, switches, and outlets.Requires travel out of town and overnight based on business needABLE TO To perform the essential functions of this position an employee must be able to meet the following workplace demands: the ability to converse with others, detect sound, identify and detect objects, count, read, write, operate a computer, handle and feel objects, reach with hands/arms and be stationary and/or stand and/or move for long periods of time. Occasionally an employee will lift/pull/push and carry up to 25 to 50 pounds, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and be able to maintain balance doing these activities. Must be able to work outside in the heat, cold & rain, able to work at heights on ladders and roofs and in areas of noise and construction.
