Position OverviewBehavioral Health Specialists (BHS') support the adult virtual PHP milieu by facilitating therapeutic skills and activity groups, providing therapeutic meal support at mealtimes and snacks, assisting clients in acquiring skills to manage their eating disorder, maintaining a recovery-oriented environment, and providing general support and assistance.Schedule0.8 FTE (32 hours a week)Monday-FridayVaries between 9AM-7PM and working 2 evenings per weekCompensation DisclosureBHS: Starting hourly range between $22.00 - $25.00Final Compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for the positionHow BHS' Empower RecoveryFacilitates group programming, including skills groups (including DBT and CBT), self-monitoring, experiential activity groups which may include art activities, music, journaling, mindfulness, relaxation and movementParticipates in therapeutic supported meals and snacks and provides milieu supportMay meet with clients to provide support and provide in the moment skills coachingAbility to engage, challenge, and support clients as neededSupports treatment direction and individualized plans as designed by therapist and treatment teamQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work or related mental health field required.
