To oversee accounting department functions in conjunction with the Chief Financial Officer. Plan, direct, monitor and review daily workflow for A/ R, A/ P, P/ R, G/ L, capital and grant activities while developing best practices in daily operations of the accounting department. Act as backup to each of the functions. Assist CFO as necessary. Major Responsibilities Plan, organize and control department activities, staffing and training within Airport guidelines. Champion continuous improvement and development opportunities to assigned employees. Review and evaluate the performance of direct reports. Provide regular informal and formal feedback; meet regularly with direct reports to identify and resolve challenges; provide guidance and direction to correct deficiencies; and implement corrective measures, if needed.
