The following position is to join RTX Corporate :

The Principle Specialist, Executive Compensation position, within the Corporate Human Resources Total Rewards organization, is responsible for the support of the executive job evaluation, job leveling and compensation benchmarking processes. This role will also provide support across various executive compensation processes and projects.

What You Will Do

  • Evaluates executive roles for all Company executives through the use of comparative analysis and Mercer's International Position Evaluation (IPE) methodology; will provide support with job level recommendations.

  • Obtains deep understanding of the organization, job structure and job requirements by partnering with the business unit Total Rewards teams to collect relevant data and resolve questions or missing information related to executive job evaluations and leveling requests.

  • Manages executive leveling / job evaluation governance process by ensuring executive leveling tool and “system of record” are up to date.

  • Manages the Job Evaluation template and updates needed to ensure we have key job details for all executive jobs.

  • Prepare and submit RTX executive compensation data with select survey houses on an annual basis.

  • Update and maintain benchmarking of executive jobs within internal systems to ensure data reflects the most recent survey data.

  • Provides support on ad-hoc market data requests from the RTX businesses

  • Communicates and trains internal customers on executive compensation processes, including job leveling and benchmarking.

  • Travel up to 10%, likely quarterly.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Prior experience utilizing analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Prior project management experience and knowledge of process development and documentation.

  • Experienced with Microsoft applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Background in a large multinational company.

  • Prior experience with benchmarking/market pricing, compensation survey submission, job evaluations and job leveling.

  • High degree of professional ethics and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to adapt to frequently changing priorities and identify critical paths for resolution.

  • Experience with MarketPay and Mercer's International Position Evaluation (IPE) systems or comparable systems.

  • While this position is remote and can be worked anywhere within the domestic U.S., the identified candidate should plan to operate within the standard working hours on Eastern Standard Time (EST).

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
