GENERAL SUMMARY:The LPN, works under the direction of the Office Manager and Clinical Supervisor, assisting in the care of patients during office visits.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Duties, responsibilities and activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.Answers patient phone calls and responds to communication from patients through the patient portal.Documents all phone calls in patient chart; return phone calls to be made by end of business day.Refills and authorizes prescriptions.Orders labs, physical therapy, ultrasounds, and x-rays at providers request.Learns provider protocols and maintains a positive working relationship with all providers.Attends staff meetings and is involved with peer evaluations, maintains annual skills check list to evaluate stated responsibilities.Provides excellent customer service to our patients and team members.Communicates in a positive and professional manner.Maintains strictest patient confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA regulations and completes required staff training.Respects the feelings of others and is polite on the job.Maintains a clean and safe work area.Keeps supervisor informed of problems or issues.QUALIFICATIONS:Education, Experience & Training: To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below.
