Description: Job Description: The Regional IT Operations Lead for the USA and Canada is responsible for ensuring the stability, efficiency, and security of IT operations across the region. This includes overseeing infrastructure, end-user services, and vendor relationships for approximately 400 users across office, brewery, and remote/home-based environments. IT Operations Lead has a critical role in ensuring the stability of IT operations. They are responsible for managing the day-to-day deployment and maintenance of the IT infrastructure that supports business activities. In addition, they oversee the forefront to both internal and external service providers providing operation services. The structure of the services and the roles and responsibilities of all parties involved in performing the services will be outlined in job descriptions, goals, and statements of work (SOWs). These SOWs will also define the contractually agreed service levels. In a multisource environment, they are the primary point of contact for the operational and tactical service management relationship across all service lines within the Information Technology (IT) Operation Function and its providers. Job Responsibilities: Drive the services delivery and improve the IT Operations & Security service providers' operations and security services across the USA and Canada, ensuring alignment with AEI's global standards and regional business needs, and fostering a continual service improvement mindset. Lead the deployment, contribute to IT strategy and technical roadmap planning, and integrate it with overall strategic plans. Work with the extended IT leadership team on the infrastructure portfolio and governance required to prioritize resources, including budget. Act as a trusted advisor and build and maintain relationships within the wider IT function and business units and users to develop a clear understanding of business needs. Ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of IT operational services, responding with agility to evolving business needs and priorities. Oversee and manage regional IT annual operating (OPEX) and capital expenditure (CAPEX) budgets, contribute to strategic planning and resource prioritization. Ensure IT operations in the region align with business outcomes via formal governance. Utilize effective negotiation abilities to reach mutually beneficial solutions that reduce costs across the entire region. Assist in evaluating both internal and external technology capabilities, collaborating with other IT experts to achieve a competitive advantage. Champion IT Operations involvement in enterprise-wide innovation efforts and its role in experimenting with novel solutions to take advantage of business opportunities. Provide strategic direction and oversight for the design, development, operation and support of the infrastructure landscape, network and end-user computing systems that fulfill the needs of the business, including the full life cycle of technical architecture, infrastructure engineering, infrastructure operations, and IT service support. Collaborate with HR and the IT leadership team to develop a talent strategy that aligns with the region's current and future business and IT goals. Drive the adoption and commitment to continual service improvement. Adopt and influence new techniques and practices to complement the change in focus as the organization's maturity develops. Collaborate with IT leadership to develop and implement AEI technology standards, governance processes, and performance metrics that ensure IT operations deliver value.
