Sales Manager - Remote (Preferably Houston, TX)

The Sales Manager - Remote (preferably Houston, TX) will be responsible for driving new business development and expanding customer relationships within assigned territories. This role requires a proactive and results-driven individual whocan identify opportunities, build strong client relationships, and support the execution of sales strategies. The Sales Manager will work closely with independent sales representatives and internal teams to meet and exceed sales targets. Travel up to 70% may be required to support business growth and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in assigned markets and customer segments.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and decision-makers.
  • Support the execution of sales strategies, pricing tactics, and promotional activities to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with independent sales representatives to ensure alignment with company goals and performance expectations.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent lead generation and follow-up.
  • Monitor market trends and customer needs to identify new applications or sales channels.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to planning and reporting activities.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.

Skills and Attributes - Proficiency Required:

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in a technical or industrial environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.

Education: Bachelor's degree required; technical or engineering background preferred. Equivalent commercial experience with technical products (e.g., heat exchangers) will be considered.
