Recruiting An Experienced Electrical Substation Cad Designer for a Remote Position

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact and work comfortably with clients and associates of various backgrounds and abilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to efficiently manage time with a minimum of supervision
  • Service-oriented attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational and project planning skills

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Two-year degree from an accredited university
  • Experience with designing in CAD of protection and controls of electrical substations
  • Experience working with investor-owned utilities
  • Familiarity with MicroStation

The CAD Designer may be asked to work extended hours occasionally in order to meet project deadlines. Candidates must pass a background check and drug test prior to employment.
