Position Summary:

As a vital member of our spa team, the Spa Laundry Specialist ensures that all linens are clean, fresh, and ready for use, contributing directly to the luxurious and restorative experience we offer our guests. This evening role is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently, values efficiency and organization, and wishes to be part of a supportive team.

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:

• Wash, dry, fold, and organize spa linens, including towels, robes, sheets, blankets, and wraps.
• Operate commercial-grade washers and dryers with attention to settings and cycles suitable for different materials.
• Maintain proper inventory levels of clean linens in treatment rooms, lockers, and relaxation areas.
• Keep all laundry areas clean, safe, and organized at all times.
• Adhere to sanitation and safety guidelines for handling both soiled and clean items.
• Collaborate with spa reception and management to prioritize linen needs based on daily usage and the next day's schedule.
• Notify supervisor of any equipment malfunctions, supply needs, or laundry shortages.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and maintain consistent quality.
• Be self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Exhibit strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Availability to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Assist with end-of-day tasks that prepare the spa for the next morning's opening.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Specific Job Skills:

License/Certifications: CPR and AED First Aid preferred.

Technical: Basic understanding of computers and smartphone applications is helpful but not necessary.

Physical Capabilities: Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours a day, bend over, lift up to 40 lbs, and navigate stairs and various weather conditions.

Additional: Work hours and days may vary, especially during lighter seasons.

Education/Related Experience:

No minimum education requirement. Previous experience in laundry, housekeeping, or similar support roles is preferred, especially in spa, hospitality, or healthcare settings.
