Volt is immediately hiring for a Project Manager, Applications in Spokane, WA

Position type: Contingent, Full time

Duration: 12 month+

Location: Onsite in Spokane, WA

Title: IT Project Manager, Applications

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to help our client with Information Technology Application projects. The ideal person can work with multiple teams, helping to lead Application or other technology projects from inception to closeout, managing the scope, schedule and cost. A+ communicator and facilitator are key to the success of this position. Effectively identify, prioritize, and translate business goals/objectives into information technology strategies/solutions.

• Work with IT department to identify high-level business requirements
• Lead analysis for IT projects
• Interact with business partners through process modeling to understand, identify, and define project scope and cost estimates
• Monitor project resources, set priorities, provide project status reporting and oversee project budget
• Take initiative and assist with process development and improvement

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management or a related field
• PMP preferred
• 5-7 years directly related experience
• Superior communication skills (verbal and written)
• Good understanding of the project lifecycle
• Proficient with all the Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
• Demonstrated ability to track and drive issues
• Good soft skills and an ability to deal with ambiguity
• Financial forecasting and budgeting background is a plus
• The person in this role will need to have outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Experience managing all phases (Initiation, Planning, Execution, and Closure) medium to large projects within an IT environment
• Experience with manufacturing and or pharmaceuticals is a plus
• Must work onsite 5 days a week, M-F

Pay range: $55.00-$65.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidates education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
