About the Role
Hi5 Orthodontics is a fun, energetic, and modern orthodontic practice looking for an Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. This role is key to creating a smooth, positive patient experience while supporting clinical workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat patients, ensuring strong patient flow throughout the day
• Assist with orthodontic procedures including placing separators, wires, elastic chains, bonding braces/Invisalign attachments, and removing cement or residue
• Provide patient instructions on oral hygiene and appliance care
• Take X-rays, CBCT scans, iTero scans, and impressions
• Maintain accurate patient charts and document treatment progress
• Anticipate the orthodontist's needs during procedures
• Transport and sterilize instruments, stock supplies, and keep operatories clean
• Attend daily huddles and staff meetings to align on patient care
• Present a positive and professional image while supporting office policies

• 1+ year of dental assisting experience (orthodontic experience preferred)
• Knowledge of dental/orthodontic terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized, reliable, and a strong team player
• Able to travel to BOTH locations
