Communications Project Manager (Consultant)

AG Consulting Partners, Inc. is seeking a Communications Project Manager (Consultant) to join our roster for current and upcoming client projects.

Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Residency requirement: We are only considering candidates who reside in Washington State or Texas. Candidates outside of these two states will not be considered for this opportunity.

Work Location Flexibility: This role provides the option for remote work; however, flexibility from our consultants is crucial for both our team and clients. Some activities may require in-person collaboration based on client requirements. We strive to offer advance notice and assistance when onsite or return-to-office policies evolve.

About the role: This position focuses on executive communications, product marketing communications, change management communications, social media posts/blogs, and related areas.

Typical day includes (examples):

• Developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies aligned with corporate and product branding objectives.
• Managing end-to-end communication projects with project plans, timelines, budgets, milestones, and deadlines.
• Serving as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders to protect and advance the organization's image and reputation.
• Overseeing development and production of press releases, articles, social media content, newsletters, presentations, and website copy.
• Implementing crisis communication plans to manage emergencies and safeguard reputation.
• Measuring KPIs, conducting audience research, gathering feedback, and analyzing data to inform future strategies.
• Mentoring and guiding junior team members; fostering growth and collaboration.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and aligned business objectives.
• Driving development and execution of executive communications, including thought leadership, keynote speeches, and social media engagement for executives.
• Ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices across communications activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in communications, marketing operations, program management, or project management: track record of managing complex communication projects.
• Residency in Washington State or Texas: must reside in these states.
• A portfolio of work: collection of communication materials (written content, presentations, executive messaging, digital campaigns).
• Experience developing and executing communication strategies.
• Experience with digital and social media platforms.
• Experience supporting senior executives in executive communications.
• Experience in integrated marketing communications.
• Familiarity with crisis communication planning and execution.
• Experience in the technology industry.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice-to-have

• Recent experience supporting the Microsoft client (within the past 2-3 years)
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP)

The compensation for this position is tailored to reflect your skills and experience, with an annual salary range of 90,000 - 120,000 plus comprehensive benefits.
