Job Title

Associate Director of Engineering

Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical oversight and leadership to the engineering, maintenance, metrology and PMO departments to ensure stable ongoing operations.
  2. Establish, maintain, and control department budget through review and scrutinization of spending.
  3. Maintain and control the capital project schedule and budget.
  4. Assign and oversee all engineering projects including internal capital, compliance, and contract manufacturing.
  5. Manage engineering resources to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing for current and upcoming projects.
  6. Ensure facility, equipment, and engineering infrastructures are compliant to local, state, federal, and international regulatory agencies.
  7. Execute high level projects from conception, consistent with upper management objectives for business growth.
  8. Manage and execute expansion of the facility to meet company growth and economic objectives.
  9. Support client audits and technical visits.
  10. Effectively communicate project status, constraints and current or potential issues to upper management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Science in Engineering or related discipline required.
  • 10+ years of management and facilities engineering experience required.
  • Pharmaceutical and/or FDA regulated industry experience required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
  • Mechanical aptitude required.
  • Aseptic filling experience desired.
  • AutoCAD experience desired.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Exposure to Allergens required
  • Comfortable Working in Confined spaces desired
  • Comfortable with prolonged sitting required
  • Minimal Travel: < 10% required

Shift

Shift: Monday – Friday 8hr day shifts

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation & Benefits: $115,500 - $218,300 annually with opportunity for growth, promotion, and annual raises. Midpoint and above is typically reserved for current Jubilant HollisterStier employees.
