Overview

This role is responsible for the organization or facility's overall maintenance, including ensuring that equipment is operated and maintained according to manufacturer specifications, work performed meets safety requirements, and all maintenance workers follow applicable federal and state safety guidelines. This position creates and follows preventive maintenance schedules, oversees maintenance or custodial staff, and inspects and tests equipment or building systems. We are looking for a knowledgeable Maintenance Manager to oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company's facilities. This role requires a solid understanding of electrical systems as well as manufacturing machinery knowledge. The candidate will be well-versed in maintenance processes and health and safety regulations, and may undertake administrative tasks such as reporting.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000

Essential Duties / Responsibilities

  1. Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation

  2. Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues

  3. Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality

  4. Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities

  5. Purchase and manage all related maintenance supplies and plant equipment repair parts for all equipment in facility

  6. Oversee and direct maintenance personnel, equipment installation, facilities equipment repair, and preventative maintenance

  7. Inspect and evaluate physical plant, grounds, and related equipment

  8. Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff (custodians, janitors etc.)

  9. Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary

  10. Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance

  11. Manage relationships with contractors and service providers

  12. Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities

  13. Ensure health and safety policies are complied with

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Minimum of 7 years Maintenance Management Experience

  • OSHA 30 Hour Certification required

  • Electrical Installation Certification
