The Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry and Physics (CHBP) at Eastern Washington University (EWU) invites applications for a Lecturer in Physics, to begin January 2026. The Department of CHBP offers academic programs leasing to bachelors degrees in chemistry (BA & BS) with minor tracks in physics and multiple chemistry disciplines. CHBP has 17 full-time faculty members, with five faculty participating in the physics program, and approximately 120 undergraduate majors. The physics program serves as a major support for disciplines within the College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) which has over 3,000 undergraduate majors. We take pride in our student focused programs, strong undergraduate research activities and newly remodeled teaching and laboratory facilities.
