Job Details

This position provides vocational services to youth ages 16-24 in accordance with the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA). The Youth Career Specialist (YCS) will manage a caseload of young adults, & will be responsible for meeting annual practitioner goals for participant enrollment, placement, & activities. The YCS is also responsible for employer outreach & job development for young adults, as well as engaging various community partners & being a resource for youth employment services in the community. This position is located off-site from the Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest (GIIN) WFS headquarters, & is required to perform to the Spokane Workforce Consortium standards for the program. Must pass background & driver record check.n.
