Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for sorting, lifting, catching, and packaging tiles while ensuring quality control. Your role will involve stacking tiles from a pallet onto a conveyor, cleaning when the line isn't running, and performing basic assembly tasks. You will prepare and mix raw materials for ceramic tiles and glazes, operate production machinery, and maintain a clean work environment.
Responsibilities
Sort, lift, catch, and package tiles while inspecting for quality control.
Stack tiles from a pallet onto a conveyor.
Clean and maintain the production line when not in operation.
Prepare and mix raw materials for ceramic tiles and glazes.
Operate production machinery and perform basic assembly tasks.
Perform sweeping and spraying tasks, maintaining cleanliness.
Regularly lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
Count and manage inventory effectively during shifts.
Essential Skills
Experience in production, general labor, and manufacturing environments.
Ability to work in an old industrial environment around large machines.
Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under general supervision.
Willingness to get dirty as needed.
Exceptional attendance, reliability, and performance.
Ability to perform repetitive movements, including twisting, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience with assembly, packaging, and inspection.
Ability to count accurately and manage inventory.
Experience in a dusty and dirty environment.
Comfortable working in high temperatures around kilns.

Work Environment
Work in a ceramic and glass tile manufacturing facility that features large industrial equipment in an older, challenging building. The job involves working in a very dirty environment, with exposure to dust, dirt, and glaze. Face masks are required in certain areas due to dust and silica, and respirator fitting will be provided. Be prepared for high temperatures when working around kilns.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane Valley, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
