Are you a proven Sales Leader in Satellite Communications with a strong network across the U.S. Department of Defense and federal agencies? This is an opportunity to lead regional growth and strategy for a cutting-edge technology company that delivers advanced SATCOM solutions to government and defense customers worldwide.

We're seeking a Sales Director to take ownership of U.S. market expansion, build and develop a high-performing team, and drive major programs in defense, intelligence, and space communications.

What You'll Do

  • Lead U.S. government sales operations across the defense, intelligence, and civilian sectors.
  • Build strategic relationships with key stakeholders within DoD, DISA, U.S. Space Force, and Intelligence Community.
  • Develop and execute multi-year business plans to deliver strong revenue growth and market share expansion.
  • Manage and mentor a talented team of sales professionals to exceed targets and maintain high sales discipline.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and marketing teams to align technical capabilities with customer requirements.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, trade shows, and federal acquisition forums.

What You'll Bring

  • Active or recent U.S. Security Clearance (Secret / TS/SCI) essential.
  • Highly experienced in satellite communications, defense, or aerospace sales.
  • Proven record in direct sales to DoD, defense primes, and federal agencies.
  • In-depth understanding of U.S. Government acquisition frameworks (IDIQ, OTA, GWAC).
  • Experience managing complex pipelines valued at $50M+ annually.
  • Strong leadership background – able to inspire, coach, and scale high-performing sales teams.
  • Degree qualified, ideally in engineering, telecommunications, or a related scientific discipline.
