Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management and Dean of Admissions (AVP), the director of enrollment research analytics will provide critical analysis of the University's new student enrollment trends and create predictive enrollment models. They will assist leaders across enrollment management in the organization of data to inform strategy and collaborate effectively with other campus offices to mine data and partner on planned and ad-hoc reporting.
The director will build, support and sustain a culture of strategic analysis and informed decision-making by collecting, analyzing, translating and communicating data from key operational areas of the university, as well as from external sources. The director provides analytical advice and works in partnership with enrollment management leaders to drive decision-making in support of institutional priorities, focused primarily on undergraduate and graduate new student enrollment, but also supporting retention and other university priorities.

The director will be an active listener and strong collaborator, able to hear what constituents are saying and translate that information into research priorities that will support the University's agenda and strategies. The director will serve as an articulate representative of the enrollment team, able to explain complex analyses while making a case for strategic decisions.
An ability to communicate up, down and across the university organizational structure will be a considerable strength. It will also be essential for the director to create an open, transparent, and ongoing dialogue with faculty and administrators that will engender cooperation, trust and confidence.
