Utilizing project management tools and methodologies, leads projects from inception to closeout, managing the scope, schedule and cost. Also manages existing programs that utilize both internal and external labor sources. The technical complexity, budget, number of internal and external parties involved, and risk to the company (i.e., financial, public reputation) increase as you move across the progression. Projects range from small scale (capital or non-capital) projects to large scale projects. In this role, projects have a distinct beginning and end. There are typically no direct reports; rather people and other resources are indirectly managed as part of a project team.
