Your Day at Lowe's

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will welcome customers, assist them in locating products, and address their home improvement needs. Your daily tasks may vary by department but will primarily involve engaging with shoppers, answering queries, and ensuring merchandise is readily available.

Positions may arise in various departments, including Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Hardware, Tools, Plumbing, and more, based on hiring needs and individual skillsets.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers upon arrival and provide friendly, professional service.
• Help customers find and handle merchandise.
• Restock shelves and maintain department inventory.
• Accurately process orders to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
• Participate in training across different store areas to enhance customer service.
• Prepare products according to customer specifications (e.g., mixing paint, cutting wood).
• Assist customers during their shopping experience or at checkout.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6 months of computer experience, including data entry and retrieval.
• 6 months of experience with retail technology (e.g., smartphones, tablets).
• Basic literacy and arithmetic skills.
• Able to perform tasks that may involve prolonged standing, sitting, and other physical activities.
• Capability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs unassisted or more with assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months of retail or customer service experience.
• Ability to speak multiple languages.
• Certification related to relevant trade areas (e.g., plumbing, electrical, kitchen design).
