Aerial Foreman Opportunity

Responsibilities: As an Aerial Foreman, you will support all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects. You believe in doing the job right. Being the best. And you're up for the challenge. In addition, you will:

• Install and/or repair aerial CATV, coaxial and fiber cable
• Place, relocate and remove poles, lines, open-wire, drop and block wire in order to maintain efficient operation of the customers' facilities
• Set up a safety perimeter using signage, cones, and safety barriers
• Review project plans, specifications installation instructions to ensure the project is built according to the approved design specifications
• Direct the activities on the job site
• Properly fill out necessary documentation, record time for the crew, etc.
• Communicate with the Area Supervisor or Manager
• Act as the lead for in-house crews
• Oversee daily schedules, delivery schedules, and daily productivity of the Aerial crew

Qualifications: About you: Safety is a part of your day to day. You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality. You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work. You are looking for long term projects. You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team. Embrace the challenge of coaching and mentoring your team. You will have 3+ years of experience in telecommunications construction. You know the telecom construction industry Coax Splicing, Fiber Splicing, Directional Drilling, Aerial and Underground Construction, etc. You are comfortable working in a bucket truck and climbing poles. You have knowledge and understanding of OSHA safety requirements to complete the job(s) safely. You have a strong knowledge of CATV building practices and CTV/Aerial field equipment. You have OSHA 10 training, CPR, and Flagging certification. You are able to operate a digger Derek truck. You are able to lift up to 70 lbs. You are able to work and climb up to 35 feet. You are able to read and understand work orders and CTV cable prints. You are able to work on call including evenings and weekends as needed. You are comfortable working under pressure and in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment. You are comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. You have demonstrated leadership skills.
