This position works 37.5 hours per week. The position allocated to this class performs professional accounting, administrative, and supervisory work. Incumbents are responsible for applying professional accounting theories, principles, practices and accounting policies. Duties involve performing complex accounting and related tasks, delegating work as appropriate, supervising and directing the activities of assigned personnel and assisting in the development of policies and procedures. Positions have considerable independence in coordinating and supervising functions within established legal and departmental policies, regulations and guidelines.
