Role responsibilities

• Engage in hands-on production support for the Power Billing application for a wholesale energy company.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert on Oracle Utilities billing component v1.6.x, read and debug customization code written in Rules Lang, and develop enhancements to existing functionality.
• Understand the business or function for which the application is designed and contribute through all phases of applications systems analysis and programming.
• Write programs according to specifications provided by Engineers, technical architects, or other computer scientists; update, repair, modify and expand existing programs.
• Perform tasks with varying difficulty and level of autonomy in line with Level 2 responsibilities described in the role documentation.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in related roles.
• Technical knowledge of and responsibility for all phases of applications systems analysis and programming; ability to understand business context.
• Technical skills: PL/SQL, Pro*C, Oracle Utilities.
• Ability to read and debug customization code (Rules Lang) and implement enhancements to existing functionality.
