Shift Lead

Location: Spokane, WA

Base Pay Range

$18.00/hr - $21.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including system start‑ups, cash handling, and ensuring floors and stock rooms are ready for business.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested to cash registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Model and share best practices in customer service with team members.
• Hold store keys and manage opening/closing procedures.
• Assist and coach team members with warehouse and vendor ordering processes.
• Register all sales and record scanning errors, price verifications, voids, and related activities.
• Assist manager with order exceptions, reverse logistics, display evaluation, and promotion resets.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and enforce the out‑date program.
• Set and update basic department pricing and signage.
• Assist with bookkeeping activities, including cash reports and ledgers.
• Assist with store maintenance and repair requests.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws for regulated products.
• Check bags at closing and comply with all company policies.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager.
• Communicate assigned tasks and report disciplinary issues and complaints to management.

Basic Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• Potential consideration for applicants with arrest or conviction records.
• Valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
