Reports To: Vice President of IT

Essential Functions And Responsibilities Of The Position

  • Business Process Support: Analyze and optimize business processes using IFS Cloud's best‑practice functionality; configure the system to meet business needs within a fit‑to‑standard approach.
  • Functional Expertise: Serve as subject matter expert for your assigned domain (Finance/Projects OR Operations/Maintenance), maintaining deep knowledge of IFS Cloud capabilities.
  • Requirements Management: Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; translate them into functional specifications and system configurations.
  • User Support & Training: Provide Tier 2 support for complex functional issues; develop training materials and deliver end‑user training across multiple sites.
  • Testing & Quality: Develop and execute comprehensive test scripts; coordinate testing activities to ensure system changes meet business requirements.
  • System Administration: Manage IFS Cloud environments, user provisioning, security roles, and permission structures; coordinate with technical resources for complex issues.
  • Deployment Support: Support site rollouts from a functional perspective including configuration, testing, training, and go‑live activities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements; stay current with IFS Cloud releases and recommend beneficial features.

Skills And Abilities

  • Demonstrated expertise in your specialized functional area: Finance/Accounting OR Maintenance/Procurement processes.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and ability to translate requirements into system configurations.
  • Experience with requirements gathering, testing, and user training.
  • Familiarity with SQL and reporting tool development.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) for working with diverse stakeholders across multiple sites.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and meetings with cross‑functional teams in remote environments.
  • Strong technical experience with ERP implementations and support of one or more of the following areas: Finance, Enterprise Asset Management, Procurement and Warehousing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner across multiple channels and audiences.
  • Experience developing auditable test scripts and executing test plans against system changes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of comprehensive experience configuring, developing, and implementing ERP systems such as IFS Cloud, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc. IFS Cloud or IFS Applications are highly preferred.
  • Experience with multi‑site ERP implementations and support is a plus.
  • High‑level knowledge of cloud computing, databases, and IT systems.

Travel: 10‑20% to mine sites across North America (Idaho, Montana, Alaska, Nevada, Yukon, Quebec) for deployments and user support.

Work Schedule: Standard business hours with flexibility for different time zones; occasional extended hours during site go‑lives.
