About The Role

We are seeking an experienced nCino and Salesforce Administrator to join our Business Application Support team. This position will be responsible for the administration, support, and maintenance of the nCino and Salesforce platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth daily operations, support system capabilities, assist with releases and vendor upgrades, and enhance platform performance. Additionally, the role will involve supporting end users, performing scheduled system maintenance, maintaining third‑party applications and services integration, managing platform releases, and collaborating with the development team to implement system improvements. The primary responsibility of this role will be managing the nCino Commercial Lending Application. You will lead multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring projects are completed successfully and meet audit standards.
As a senior administrator, you will guide less experienced team members to ensure they adhere to GBCI standards. You will also maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation and ensure testing is completed at all levels for new systems, releases, enhancements, and break/fix solutions. In this role, you will work in cross‑functional teams, providing technical and analytical support for both new and current production systems. As a representative of the IT Department, you will interact with all levels of bank groups and management. Therefore, professionalism and diplomacy are essential for building trust and ensuring the success of the position. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to manage complex technical projects, ensuring both nCino and Salesforce platforms support the bank's strategic goals and operations.

Location: This is a corporate position that may be located at an available bank division location across our nine‑state footprint in AZ, CO, ID, MT, NV, TX, UT, WA, or WY. Compensation varies by location and is analyzed individually. Entry rate for Mitchell, MT is $46.08 per hour; WA applicants in Wenatchee range $53.11–$79.67 per hour; Spokane range $52.63–$78.94 per hour.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Administer, support, and maintain user access for the nCino and Salesforce platforms. Develop strategies for improved system support and solutions performance.
  • Coordinate and participate in new platform software products and releases that impact the organization's business services and operations. Work with Development, Quality Assurance, and functional teams to ensure seamless updates, releases, and new feature implementations.
  • Create, maintain, and provide all necessary documentation on IT operational and security audit controls for assigned systems, including the heavily scrutinized SOX controls for lending systems.
  • Analyze and occasionally collect business and functional requirements for established applications, transferring knowledge into technical solutions that positively impact the organization and customer experience. Develop reports and dashboards as needed.
  • Coordinate with groups of business users who test, validate, and evaluate new applications and functions to determine issues in services and software provided.
  • Provide judgment, advice, recommendations, and best practices on systems to help senior management make informed decisions that impact peers and employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Complete assigned online training courses and achieve passing scores by the due date.

About You

Qualifications

  • Education – Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Required). Preferred education is advanced or specialized coursework related to nCino or Salesforce administration.
  • Experience – 7+ years of professional experience in computer science, information systems, or related field. Experience includes advanced support for nCino projects, application management (business process management, workflow automation), and leadership on specialty applications such as nCino, Salesforce, and other IT‑managed systems. Experience providing end‑user support, Windows operating system and Office applications, and performing software upgrades and installations.
  • Certifications – Preferred nCino and Salesforce certifications.
  • Skills & Abilities – Trustworthy and capable of interacting calmly and professionally with a variety of people at all levels; ability to present ideas in user‑friendly language; strong problem‑solving, analytical, and time‑management skills; self‑starter with ownership of responsibilities; backup capability for other staff; and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Travel – Up to 15% travel required (approx. 3.5 days/month) by automobile, commercial airlines, or rental vehicles, with ability to lodge in public facilities.
