JOB TITLE: Brake Operator - Unlimited Setup

LOCATION: Washington

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
  • Operates and sets up the press brake.
  • Understands and proficiently operates all press controls and related fabrication equipment.
  • Maintains orderly working and storage area.
  • Verifies quality of produced parts.
  • Observes safety & environmental rules and regulations at all times.
  • Performs preventative maintenance as needed.
  • Troubleshoots various machinery problems.
  • Keeps work areas clean and safe.
  • Performs additional related duties as required, including secondary operations.
  • Seeks to improve production changeovers and reduce machine downtime.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school level education or equivalent and specialized training which may be obtained in vocational courses or on the job.
  • Minimum two (2) years of brake experience.
  • Ability to read, interpret and operate from prints and shop drawings.
  • Possess knowledge of current setup process on multiple machines.
  • Basic math knowledge: accuracy in counting parts and production data entry, fractions, percentages, and proportions applied to practical situations.
  • Basic Computer PC skills needed.
  • Ability to follow work instructions in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to use precision measurement equipment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to support overtime requirements.
  • Able to work and produce effectively with minimal supervision.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to lift 50lbs with or without accommodations; ability to stand in a stationary position for 10 hour shifts.

Monday to Thursday 5AM-3:30PM
