Painter Position

HDT Global - Spokane, proud manufacturer of Berg Rigid Wall Shelters, is seeking a skilled, motivated, and dedicated individual for our open Painter position! As a federal contractor, employment is contingent upon successfully passing a background check and a pre-employment drug test, including marijuana. Top painters are able to assemble to prepare, prime, and paint fabricated parts used in the manufacturing process. They accomplish this by:

1. Hangs and takes parts off of automated overhead conveyors
2. Sprays powder and/or liquid coatings onto prepared surfaces
3. Maintains powder and/or liquid coating equipment
4. Accurately reports shop floor production data via computer terminal and/or written reporting
5. Follows both visual and written work instructions in order to complete assigned tasks within set time allotted
6. Performs cycle counting of parts and material handling duties as required
7. Supports, communicates, reinforces, and defends the mission, values, and culture of the organization
8. Adheres to all quality and safety standards
9. Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1YR+ HVLP experience required or previous construction experience
• 1YR+ experience reading and understanding blueprints
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Ability to read and write English, use a tape measure, and use simple math
