**Overview**The Floor Technician position provides the shampoo carpets, waxing, stripping, polishing and buffing floors.**Pay: $20.00- $20.00 per hour**The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills,abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.**Shift** : This will be a 40hr a week job and may require overtime. The schedule will vary be day mornings / nights and you must be available to work any day of the week. For information about ABM's benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members ( | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM)**Position Summary Details:**The Utility/Floor Tech position provides the cleaning and maintaining carpets and hard surface floors clean.Essential Functions:* Floor person is responsible for cleaning and maintaining carpet and hard surface floors, including stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, sealing and spot cleaning.* Responsible for using safety measures in work areas.* Duties also include assisting the Building/Account Lead with special projects including but not limited to, setups, breakdowns, move in/ move outs).* Floor Tech must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.**Responsibilities**+ Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.+ Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floors+ Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment+ Drives vehicles (if required) to perform or travel to cleaning work, including vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners+ Miscellaneous duties as assigned+ Must be 18 years of age or older+ Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available+ Customer Service Experience+ 1 yr of similar work experience+ Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
