Position Summary
Performs in-depth analysis on clinical outcomes data in order to develop clinical process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Gathers data on performance metrics to facilitate the review of program effectiveness
Evaluates patient care data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards
Performs a variety of tasks
Leads and directs the work of others
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Typically reports to a head of a unit/department
Performs other related duties as assigned
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned
Requirements and Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program required
BSN and 5 years of clinical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and clinical experience
Experience with Performance Improvement concepts, principles and practices required
Experience teaching, coaching, facilitating, and collaborating with others to achieve group or team learning objectives required
Experience in data management and measurement processes
Previous experience, or willingness to learn, regulatory standards and applications
Working Conditions
Must be able to maintain a sitting position
Typical equipment used in an office job
Repetitive movements
